Job Description

This position is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of quality and risk management initiatives. Contributes to Parker Drilling Integrated Management System (IMS) execution and risk management-related activities, including the facilitation of root cause analysis and making process improvement recommendations. Ensuring that appropriate systems in place to confirm compliance quality management system certifications requirements. Overseeing accuracy and consistency of maintenance records by operations on their service and equipment maintenance/ inspections documentations, ensure records management maintained to comply with IDR requirements.  

Essential functions

o   Assist in the development of quality-related initiatives to support IMS, which includes the development of quality management policies and procedures.

o   Design, implement and complete statistical analysis to support quality management.

o   Assist in the identification, tracking and support of risk that may impact current contracts.

o   Assess quality management training needs and deliver training for TRS.

o   Assist with the development of user training manuals and training plans for company risk and quality initiatives. May assist with training users and launching operating procedures related to quality and risk management.

o   Liaison with the operations management team to ensure quality-related processes, procedures, and records are documented, controlled, and implemented

o   Capable of developing and review service quality plan and service design and development plan.

o   Conduct and attend operations meeting and document minutes of meeting and follow-up actions.

o   Prepare the TRS monthly service quality reports to quality manager.

o   Prepare the TRS service quality reviews to Parker wellbore management and customers.

o   Conduct rig visit (onshore and offshore) to make sure the process is followed by the TRS division.

o   Conduct rig visit to meet the customers in regular basis to evaluate and asses the process.

o   Conduct rig visit to meet to be part of the investigation team if any SQ incident to reach the root cause and remedial actions.

o   Take the initiatives to follow up the corrective actions and close the SQ incident in time as per Parker wellbore policy. 

o   Participate in the supplier’s audit and inspection campaign.

o   Provide routine briefings to the QA Manager on the status of quality monitoring and risk-related activities.

o   Maintain accurate maintenance and operational records for TRS equipment and services.

o   Support operations to interpret and integrate industry API & other standards/ specifications/ acceptance criteria relevant to handling equipment in TRS

o   Liaise in the closure of NCRs and lead service / equipment failure investigation, initiate actions to minimize the likelihood of the occurrence of nonconformities

o   Provide expertise and guidance to operations for maintaining integrated management system.

o   Monitoring and follow-up for inspection/test certifications of TRS equipment.

o   Review of certifications and relevant documents and liaise with vendors for work specifications, deliveries.  

o   Will be an audit team member and will ensure the audit process is valid and effective.

o   Communicate and lead customer, technical audits.

o   Maintain records, communicate and respond on audit results.

o   Review and approve report of function testing of tools and equipment.

o   Supervise and review inspections and test reports of TRS equipment by third party or by parker wellbore team.

o   Coordinate and close work with TRS operations team.

o   Ensure that data for reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPI) is complete and accurate.

o   Own and maintain the Lessons Learned. Participate in the collection, review and distribution of Lessons Learned.

o   Assist with corrective action follow-up.

o   Assist with metrics reporting and problem solving.

o   Abide by company policies and procedures.

o   Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Necessary qualifications, skills and abilities

Education / Qualification:

o   Bachelor Degree required.

Experience:

o   Must have at least 7 years of experience in quality assurance; energy industry is preferred

o   Must have at least 5 years of experience working on tubular running services field.

o   Working knowledge of systems based upon ISO 9001, API Q2.

o   Must be a detail oriented, self-starter and able to work with little supervision while maintaining goals/tasks.

Technical Skills:

o   Understand and interpret industry API & other standards/specifications/acceptance criteria relevant to tubular running services.

o   Excellent Knowledge on tubular running services equipment functionality

o   Excellent Knowledge on tubular running services design and development.

o   Excellent Knowledge on inspection, preservation and maintenance requirements of TRS tools/equipment

o   Understanding on connection integrity, use different tubular running equipment.

o   Must be certified auditor on ISO 9001.

o   Excellent technical and operational TRS teaching and coaching skills to train TRS employees.

o   Preferred to have TapRoot level 3 training. 

Administrative Skills:

o   Must have good PC skills to include all MS Office products with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

o   Must have good written and verbal communication skills and able to effectively communicate with staff, management, customers and vendors.

o   Must possess sound reasoning skills and have the ability to follow directions.

o   Good team player to work with the TRS team and quality manager in country.
