Job Description

The purpose of the Developer position is to deliver services and solutions for Parker Wellbore using the suite of Microsoft’s PowerApps, Power BI, SharePoint, Power Automate, Microsoft Teams, custom development, and data integrations on the platform.

Essential functions

  • Provide subject matter expertise to team members and customers on best practices for Power Platform architecture, infrastructure and integration with other Microsoft products.
  • Experience developing new PowerApps model and canvas driven apps as well as enhancing existing apps.
  • Subject matter expert in design of user friendly workflows / processes while accounting for license / data transfer cost impact.
  • Provide support and guidance to users on Power Platform features and functionalities.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to understand client pain points & troubleshoot as challenges arise.
  • Assist in driving the adoption of cloud solutions using the Power Platform.
  • Design, develop, customize team sites, libraries, lists, views, and workflows
  • Understanding of construction of apps that leverage SharePoint lists and integration; ability to demonstrate experience with making those connections and knowing when / how to architect this manner of integration.
  • Development of Azure logic apps and functions and Power BI development.
  • Provide architecture, configuration, administration, and functional support to expand capabilities in Microsoft 365.
  • Design end-to-end solutions that improve collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing.
  • Ability to create business processes and custom connectors for Microsoft Power Automate/ Flow.

Qualifications

Necessary qualifications, skills and abilities

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or 3-5 years of equivalent work experience 
  • 3-5 years of experience in the Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Flow, and Power BI)
  • Demonstrated project experience developing solutions using the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate / Flow, Power BI)
  • .Net development experience (C#, ASP.Net MVC, Entity Framework, JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
  • 3-5 years of experience with Office 365 development utilizing PowerApps, Flow, and Power BI, Teams and SharePoint Online
  • Foundational knowledge of Microsoft 365 platform including Exchange, Intune, Azure AD
  • Ability to create business processes and custom connectors with Microsoft Flow
  • A clear understanding of PowerApps formulas and development methods
  • Proficient creating PowerShell scripts
  • Strong business-to-technology translation skills are essential for identifying ways to apply solutions to help clients increase business value and performance
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication

    Programming/Scripting Languages: C#, ASP.Net MVC, Entity Framework, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

    Platforms: Windows

    Preferred Certifications: PL-900, PL-400, PL-600, PL-100, PL-200
