Job Description

This position is responsible for executing the strategic and commercial development of the XXXXXX and acting as the product line champion for internal and external technical support. This position is responsible for well construction and operations support (in conjunction with the Well Operations Manager if available) to multiple well construction projects globally. Provides technical leadership and advises Regional Management and supports all well construction projects. Leads well construction technical strategy including process development. Participates in the recruiting of industry experts. Leads Audits, Peer Reviews, Technical Workshops. Participates in Technical and Risk Analysis at Project Readiness Assessment stages (PRA). He/she provides technical and managerial leadership to assure high quality service is delivered to the client through application of Competency and training programs, quality initiatives and effective maintenance systems.The long term planning including but not limited to Technical improvements & M&A opportunities to strengthen Rental Services industry position in our current & future arenas along with management of resources are key priorities of this position.

Essential functions

US Well Services Product Line Director

  • Understand the TRS and Whipstock targeted markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts and which market strategies can be used to attract new clients.
  • Research prospective TRS and Whipstock customers in targeted markets, pursue, leads and follow through to a successful sale.
  • Develop and implement TRS and Whipstock growth opportunities in existing and new markets.
  • Ensure TRS and Whipstock Sales (Revenue) and profitability (EBITDA) of the BU meet Company objectives.
  • Develop new and review existing product specifications to strengthen competitive advantage.
  • Develop and maintain successful customer relationships and address their needs effectively.
  • Provide technical expertise to internal and external customers.
  • Troubleshoot internal and external operational issues.
  • Responsible to develop a competency & training program in conjunction with HR for the Well Construction.
  • Responsible for ensuring Sales (Revenue) and profitability (EBIT) of the Well Construction meet objectives
  • Responsible for Rental Services compliance to SQ Standards and assuring operations as per Operational Management IMS Guidelines
  • Ensures sufficient resources (people, equipment) are available for the Well Construction to support quality service delivery through proper activity and resource planning. Product Line Director
  • Is responsible for the quality of services delivered to the client through application of training programs, quality initiatives, and effective maintenance systems. Discuss client feedback through day-to-day contacts with operation execution tea ms.
  • Participates in client service quality reviews as needed.
  • Ensures that all Well Construction personnel comply with Parker Drilling Ethic, SQ, HSE and IT standards and policies.
  • Participate and influence Well Construction sales including price tendering, contract, and customer satisfaction in conjunct ion with the global Sales & Marketing Director.
  • Assures effective communication within the organization and with clients, suppliers and third parties.
  • Promotes teamwork within the organization and across product Well Constructions.
  • Participates on Project Readiness Assessment stages (PRA} reviews to ensure Technical issues are addressed in the Business Case.
  • Provides support to projects to improve operational efficiency and to reduce red money losses.
  • Promote the use of Risk Management and Decision tools, and Management of Change.
  • Stay abreast of new technology available to Well Construction projects, both from within PD and within the industry. Communicate with the projects to transfer knowledge related to new technology.

Qualifications

Necessary qualifications, skills and abilities

o Degree educated with BSc/BA in Engineering or similarly related is preferred o Between 3 and 10 years’ experience in Oil & Gas with extensive fishing and whipstock experience, preferably with managerial / supervisory roles o Extensive product and services knowledge. o Ability to communicate with multiple levels of management within the organization. o Ability to develop successful relationships with new and existing customers. o Analyst market trends and identify opportunities. o Complete understanding of sales, field processes. o Experienced international traveler;

  • Ensuring compliance with general procedures (commercial, legal, technical and QHSE)
  • Act as the technical expert in the organization and with customer for fishing operations /
  • recommendations and whipstock products and operation
  • Build and maintain a knowledge Database capturing best practices and case history
  • Develop presentation materials, white papers and other items as required for customer meetings, industry
  • Participate / drive negotiations with manufacturers when applicable to promote and distribute their technologies
  • Maintain, update and develop (when necessary), service operations procedures, core competencies for the field operators and product line engineers as well as appropriate training material.
  • Cultivate and promote direct relationships with key customer personnel.
  • Evaluate and analyze competitive threats and technology opportunities Support Sales Operations.
