Job Description
This position is responsible for supporting the Company’s drilling projects by providing various manual tasks using hand and power tools.
Essential Functions:
- Pipe handling consists of loading unloading.
- Stacking & aligning of pipe.
- Arranging pipe for inspection rack & inspection bay.
- Packing and palletizing the ready material for delivery.
- Segregating of materials as in coming and ,in processing ,final inspection.
- Cleaning the treads, installation of thread protectors.
- Other shop floor jobs as when required.
- Ensure that personal behaviors and work practices are in line with Company safety standards.
- Responsible for safety of self and others in the vicinity to include, but not limited to, employees, vendors and guests.
- Provide visible leadership engagement, be aware of housekeeping and take additional safety precautions to ensure no one is put at risk.
- Not take short cuts or unnecessary risks and actively work with others to ensure they take due care and do not put themselves or others at risk.
- Ensure all incidents are reported and appropriately investigated in accordance with Company procedure.
Qualifications
Necessary qualifications, skills and abilities
- SSC 0-1 years experience Knowledge of pipe handling/storing. Co-ordination qualities. Safe working practices
